  Minister’s Welcome to Our Carstairs Bancroft United Church.

I hope that you will find it an informative and interesting source of information about our church and its activities. Our weekly worship services generally include contemporary and traditional elements. We offer a variety of programs for learning, serving, and fellowship for all ages, including children and youth. Christian music has an important role in our church’s worship and activities.

• Live worship services each Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. including an informal check-in time after announcements with those joining us via Zoom.
• Full worship service material is sent to all who request it.  Our Treasurer, Bob Peel provides a printed copy to those who live in Chinook Winds Lodge and have no Internet access.
• We carry on Coffee & Conversation gatherings on  Thursday mornings from 10:00 a.m.  While most attend in person there are some who also participate via zoom.
• During the week, I send out daily encouragements to those of us who have an e-mail address through Chris Whittaker. Many thanks to Chris for providing this assistance to us with forwarding all those messages. You can also find these encouragements on this homepage.
• Currently our “Let’s Make Music” sining group meet on Thursdays at 11-30am
• Our Prayer Chain Group is still available if someone needs extra strength for healing or is in distress.
• I am also available for pre-arranged private meetings if you would like to talk in person while honouring the precautions set by health authorities.
